WORLD TELUGU CONFERENCE Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said that the World Telugu Conference to be held in Tirupati in December this year would be made a memorable event. He assured that the state government would bear the entire expenditure of the event. -
Government has sanctioned Rs 25 crore for the event. He said elaborate arrangements were being made for the conference which would be attended by about 1,500 people from abroad, nearly 2,000 from various Indian states and 8,000 from Andhra Pradesh.
Besides Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, several politicians, artists, poets and scholars are likely to participate in the event. (INN)
